Dr. Denise Mitchem is a globally recognized relationship strategist, social impact advisor, and trusted connector whose work spans corporate leadership, government affairs, philanthropy, academia, entertainment, and faith communities.
A Jamaican and Costa Rican American, Dr. Mitchem was raised on Long Island, New York. She is a proud mother of seven and grandmother of eight whose life’s work has been dedicated to building meaningful relationships that create opportunity, expand influence, and generate lasting impact.
For more than three decades, she has advised Fortune 100 executives, entrepreneurs, elected officials, nonprofit leaders, philanthropists, and global changemakers, helping connect people, ideas, and resources around a shared vision for progress.
Dr. Mitchem serves as President of the Harvard Women Alumni Association of Georgia and is a board member of Ladies Who Golf. Her leadership experience also includes service with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) of Long Island, the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators and Developers (NABHOOD), and the 100 Black Women of New York.
A member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, she has been recognized for her contributions to leadership, community impact, and relationship building, including being honored as a Global Visionary by the Association of Black Harvard Women.
In addition to her advisory work, Dr. Mitchem is a licensed chaplain and ordained minister at Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Her unique ability to bridge business, faith, culture, and social impact has made her a sought-after advisor, convener, and advocate for leaders committed to creating meaningful change.
